About Petey: Petey was found running the streets in Laredo in December 2017, but no owners were found.  When he brought to us, he was in poor shape, but young and worth taking a chance in getting him in shape for adoption.  He received and thorough examined by a vet and we were told blood work was normal, needed t be neutered and about 2 years old.  The bad news was that he was lightly heartworm and Lime positive.  He has been treated for both and is doing very well.  He is a happy dog, well mannered and loving.  Would be great family dog.  Must have room to run and explore.
